A 37 ans, Gaël Monfils retrouve le top 100 mondial après avoir connu une saison de blessures et avoir atteint la 394ème place du classement Atp.

Hier, (22 octobre), il a remporté son 12ème titre sur le circuit ATP,  au tournoi  de Stockholm, face au Russe Pavel Totov (4-6, 7-6 (8/6), 6-3).

34 ème finale en carrière

Il s'agissait de la 34ème finale du tennisman. Il avait disputé au moins une finale par saison depuis 2005, une performance réalisée seulement par Rafael Nadal et Jimmy Connors lors de 19 années consécutives.
