Au moins dix personnes sont mortes et une autre a été grièvement blessée dans un violent incendie d’origine probablement criminelle, dans la nuit de lundi à mardi, d’un immeuble à Paris, dont une habitante, présentant des « antécédents psychiatriques », a été interpellée.

Il a fallu plus de cinq heures aux pompiers pour maîtriser le feu qui a fait 10 morts et 32 blessés dont huit pompiers. Plus d’une cinquantaine de personnes ont dû être évacuées en urgence, à l’aide de grandes échelles et de cordes notamment.

Arrivé sur place au petit matin, le procureur de la République de Paris, Rémy Heitz, avait annoncé le placement en garde à vue d’une habitante de l’immeuble, situé dans le XVIe arrondissement. « Cette femme a été interpellée dans la rue immédiatement après l’incendie », a-t-il déclaré. Sa garde à vue a été suspendue dans la journée afin de la conduire à l’infirmerie...
